Pursell Farms is now a dog-friendly resort welcoming your furry friends to The Farm, too!
The stress and hassle of boarding or finding a pet sitter can be worrisome for many guests. Rates to board your dog (or dogs) can get expensive. In addition, you also worry whether or not your pooch is receiving the best care while you are away. Out of convenience to you, we wanted to alleviate the concern of leaving your pup behind by rolling out the welcome wagon to your canine compadre.
“As a dog owner, I can tell you how much I miss my four-legged family members when I travel on vacation,” says Assistant Hospitality Manager Margaret Rose Wood. “Offering dog-friendly rooms helps dog owners travel with their whole family for an unforgettable vacation.”
Upon arrival, our doggie guests will receive a food and water bowl, a cozy fleece blanket for long afternoon naps, a Pursell Farms dog bone, and a plush, longhorn squeaker toy as a souvenir from their trip.
There can be no denying that dogs are members of the family too. Leaving them behind can be tough, but our hope is that you feel at ease planning a family weekend or holiday getaway to The Farm that includes Fido.
“The absolute best part of being able to travel with your dog,” Margaret adds, “is still getting greeted by their tail wagging and kisses when you get back to the room after a day of activities – nothing is better than that!”
