Pre-Festival Memo | Vendor Info

Set Up:

  1. Set up will begin on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 3:00PM. Vendors are allowed to set up on the day of but we ask for all booths to be ready to sell by 9:00AM on festival days. If you require over 45 minutes to set up your booth, we strongly advise you to set up on Friday evening. (The venue will be closely monitored by Pursell Farms security beginning at 7:00PM Friday evening.)
  2. Set up/take down times: need to be followed closely for the benefit of the festival. Set up no earlier than 7:00AM; no set up after the festival begins and no take downs before the festival closes.
  3. Booths will be numbered, and each vendor will be assigned a number, and that is where you will be set up.
  4. Each vendor will be responsible for bringing tables, chairs, and any supplies needed. Electricity and water are not provided. Vendors can bring portable electric generators if needed.
  5. At the conclusion of the day, please don’t bring any vehicles into the vendor area until the festival has ended and guests have cleared the area. Failure to do so may result in ineligibility for participation in future festivals.

Exhibitor/Vendor Rules:

  1. The exhibitor/vendor is responsible for setting up, dismantling, and cleaning the booth area.
  2. Area will be left clean and free of debris or trash. Each vendor is responsible for providing trash bags and properly bagging and disposing of all garbage from your booth.
  3. The booth should be attended at all times. An exhibitor may have an assistant(s) in the booth as long as the exhibitor is responsible for the assistant(s).
  4. Each exhibitor/vendor is responsible for their booth and all items in it.
  5. Loud or disruptive noises, abusive language, “party atmosphere,” or disturbances of any kind will not be tolerated.
  6. Booths must remain open until closing time. Any dismantling of the booth(s) before closing time will result in ineligibility for participation in future festivals.
  7. Booth arrangement will be determined by the festival organizers and will be filled according to what works best for the show’s flow.
  8. Smoking, vaping, and outdoor drinking is NOT allowed at the festival.
  9. No selling of offensive items or materials. The festival reserves the right to prohibit the sell or display of any item(s) it may deem to be offensive, inappropriate, or dangerous.
  10. All vendors will behave peacefully and respectfully toward other vendors and customers.

Payment Processing & WIFI Connectivity:

Vendors will be beyond the available WIFI radius. We suggests that vendors switch to an offline card processing mode or be able to accept cash as an alternative form of payment. Vendor Selection:

Vendors are selected based on merchandise, product variety, product appropriateness, and space availability. You will have received an email from one of your festival coordinators if you were approved to be a vendor. The official vendor list is listed on the festival web page. If you were not contacted, you are NOT an approved vendor.

Non-Discrimination:

The Marble Valley Festival Committee does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, sex, religion or disability.

Promotion:

By submitting this form, you consent to and authorize the use of any and/or all images of works in promotional literature and other promotional endeavors by the Marble Valley Festival; including but not limited to a brochure, print and television advertisements and internet display. The Marble Valley Festival will keep all images of accepted work for publicity and festival archival files.

We want this to be a successful event for everyone. That said, event promotion by a vendor/vendors is permitted and encouraged. Utilizing imagery from the official festival homepage and pursellfarms.com is approved by the Pursell Farms Marketing Department.

Trademarks/Logos:

The Marble Valley Festival logo and/or artwork and name may not be used without written authorization from Pursell Farms. Selling merchandise branded with Marble Valley Festival™, Pursell Farms™, or FarmLinks™ is prohibited.

General Release:

The applicant does hereby and forever discharge the Marble Valley Festival, all sponsoring organizations and their directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers from all manner of actions, suits, damages, claims and demands whatsoever in law or equity from any loss or damage arising out of or in conjunction with an application to or participation in the Marble Valley Festival, which is not responsible for any injury sustained by exhibitors or guests while within the space designated for exhibits. The applicant has read and complies with all rules as outlined in this prospectus and in all future correspondence and understands that failure to follow these regulations may result in expulsion from this year’s show or future shows. Pursell Farms reserves the right to make the final interpretation of all rules as they apply to the Marble Valley Festival.

Please Note:

– You are responsible for notifying a festival coordinator no later than June 30, 2023 if you are unable to attend.

– Vendors MUST set up in their numbered space! Any vendor setting up in another vendor’s assigned space will be removed to make space for the vendor who has been pre-registered and assigned that location.

– Set up will ONLY be Friday from 3:00PM – 6:00PM. Saturday & Sunday load-ins are acceptable between the hours of 7:30AM – 8:30AM. Plan to arrive early.

– Vendors must bring their own tent. Vendor spaces were reserved as 10x10ft or 10x20ft (as specified in your vendor application).

– All cars must be removed from the site by 9:00AM for the event to open at 10:00AM

– The festival will NOT provide electricity or water.

– The festival hours are 10:00AM – 5:00PM (7/8/23) and 10:00AM – 4:30PM (7/9/23), rain or shine!

– All exhibitors are responsible for taking tax and pay all required state and local taxes.
