More about Chuck Hammett and the Kingdom School of Golf
Chuck Hammett’s Kingdom School of Golf is a most, unique golf school where you will learn to play the game of golf, while applying Kingdom and Biblical Principles in the midst of it all.
In the school, you will learn all aspects of the game. This includes short game, full swing, on-course training and psychological strategies. The school utilizes advanced trainings and video analysis in all sections.
Implementing Kingdom Truths during the actual, physical training and mechanical changes, makes this school like none other. The key to this approach is to apply specific Scripture to the actual physical changes being implemented within the swing. As the Word of God is applied, you can commune with the Lord and His presence, while standing over the golf ball, making mechanical changes and hitting shots. It is the “abiding in the Vine” that Jesus teaches us in John 15:5. This makes golf so much fun, for “in Your presence is fullness of joy”. (See Psalm 16:11) This is one of many examples to be learned.
Take advantage of Chuck Hammett’s 20+ years of experience as a professional golf instructor and minister, all wrapped into one, power-packed golf school. From high level, mechanical instruction to the power of God’s Word, the Kingdom School of Golf has it all. You will be equipped to become a much better golfer and have a unique encounter with God that will impact the way you play golf and every area of your life!
ABOUT CHUCK HAMMETT:
Chuck Hammett grew up playing golf with his family in Venice, Florida. Chuck’s junior golf career was very successful, winning many tournaments and qualifying for two Florida State Amateurs. After graduating high school, Chuck received a scholarship to play golf at Stetson University, where he graduated in 1991.
After college, Chuck’s teaching gift became evident, whether it was in the classroom or on the golf range. While golf was in the forefront of Chuck’s mind, God was doing a great work in his heart. It was 1992 when Chuck fully surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, and his life has been engaged in ministry ever since.
In 1994 Chuck began his professional teaching career at the Bill Skelley School of Golf. It was also during this time that Chuck felt the Lord calling him to write a unique book entitled, “Jesus Would Have Been a Scratch Golfer”. The book teaches the mechanics of the golf swing from Kingdom and Biblical Principles. A relationship with PGA Touring Pro, Kenny Knox, began in this season and Chuck invited Kenny to be a part of the book. Chuck’s teaching career continued in Tallahassee through 2009, until moving to Tennessee. During this time, Chuck traveled and spoke to many churches, organizations, and even the PGA Tour, using the golf platform to teach and release the Truths of Jesus and His Kingdom.
While Chuck’s golf instruction career continued to advance, he was also part of a team that started a church in Tallahassee in 1995. Chuck functioned as a pastor and senior elder of the church for 15 years, serving in many capacities. Chuck’s life of ministry, through the world of golf, business and the church, has been in full force now for over 20 years. Chuck currently lives in Franklin, TN with his beautiful wife Bobbi and their 3 children, Jonathan, Reagan and Olivia.
